Note: Perch Review is currently signed with a developer certificate. Windows will show a SmartScreen warning on first launch. This is expected — see step 2 below for how to proceed safely. A commercially trusted certificate is planned for an upcoming release.

// Installation

Download & open the installer
Click the button above to download PerchReview-0.1.0.msix. Once downloaded, double-click the file to open it.

Trust the developer certificate (first install only)
Windows may show a SmartScreen or installation warning because the app uses a self-signed certificate. To proceed:
  1. Right-click the .msix file and choose Properties
  2. Open the Digital Signatures tab → select the signature → Details
  3. Click View Certificate → Install Certificate
  4. Select Local Machine → place in Trusted Root Certification Authorities
  5. Return to the installer and click Install

Launch & activate
After installation, start Perch Review from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut. On first launch it will ask for your license key — enter your sub_01… subscription ID from the purchase confirmation email. The 14-day free trial starts automatically without a key.

Connect GitHub or GitLab
Open Settings in the app and paste a Personal Access Token with read:user and repo (GitHub) or read_api (GitLab) scopes. Your PRs will appear within seconds.
